What old song has the sound of ocean waves and seagulls in the background?

Its and old song. not sure what year it was. Most likely before the
year 2000. Slow tempo. The chorus, or somewhere in the song has the
sort of repetition of instrumental rhythm. Sad song it is. I've been
cracking my head. Any ideas?
