I need yet another TV show to watch? suggestions?

Ok well a few things, 1.preferably nothing hbo and 2. i love tv shows
that are based on books that way if I love the show enough I have
something good to read. Also something current or recently ended would
be nice :)

-Make it or Break It
-Gossip Girl
-Angel and Buffy
-Bones
-Fringe
and I am looking forward to:
-The Lying Game
-The Secret Circle
-Ringer
and Revenge
Also, I do not usually like Reality TV i do watch American Idol though
but for the most part I cant stand any reality TV. I am more of a
mystery/supernatural/crime solving/ occasional romance/ and teen show
watcher. Shows I dont like so you can just not suggest them :P would
be
-Supernatural
-True Blood(love the books but the show is too...odd)
-The Voice
Oh and I'm not a huge "comedy" fan. Dont get me wrong I love funny
shows but Im not a fan of hardcore sitcoms with nothing but the sitcom
element. except that 70's show...I love that show.
