_*Zombieland*_*was one of the coolest movies of 2009, but a sequel to
the stylish chuckler could still be a fair way off.*

Director Ruben Fleischer caught up with _Coming Soon_ about the
project, and revealed that “the reality of it happening is
getting less and less real”.

“I can promise you it's something we all want to do,” he
says of _Zombieland 2_. “I think the reality of it happening is
getting less and less real.

“It's just harder and harder every day, because everybody's
gotten really busy and the reality is that we've never had a script
that we've all just fallen in love with.

“Until there's a script that we all can say, ‘This is
it,’ it's more of an idea than an actual thing that we can work
towards prioritising and realising.”

Should the project suddenly lurch back into life, Fleischer
isn’t concerned that Abigail Breslin – who was 12 in the
first film – will suddenly look a lot older in the sequel.

“That could be cool and that's definitely something we've talked
about,” Fleischer said. “It's not like it's going to pick
up right where they left off. I think some time passage might be
cool.”

Just a few weeks ago, _Zombieland_ star Jesse Eisenberg told Little
White Lies: “They're writing the script right now but I haven't
seen it and I suspect that the longer we wait, the less relevant it
will be.

“I mean, all the actors would love to do it and the director
would love to do it but I'm not sure what's happening.”

Its and old song. not sure what year it was. Most likely before the

A couple of years after their escapade in Las Vegas, Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha), and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) are taking a trip to Thailand to have a good time Stu's coming marriage ceremony to Lauren (Jamie Chung). Much to Alan's dismay, they're accompanied by Lauren's younger brother, Teddy (Mason Lee). During Lauren's father's (Nirut Sirijanya) toast, he proves his disapproval of Stu by comparing him to rice porridge. At the end of the evening, Stu hesitantly connects to Phil, Doug, Alan and Teddy to enjoy a beer. Relaxing at a campfire and roasted marshmallows, the group toast to Stu and Lauren's future happiness. The following morning, Phil, Stu and Alan, together with gangster Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) (whom Alan befriended after Las Vegas) and a chain-cigarette smoking capuchin monkey, awaken in a dirty lodge room in Bangkok. Stu has a face tattoo, and Alan's head is completely shaven. Nonetheless, they can't find Teddy, only detecting his severed finger. Chow commences recollecting the occasions of the previous evening, but his coronary heart stops immediately after snorting a line of benzoylmethylecgonine. Panicked, the trio dispose of Chow's body in an ice equipment. After stealing the password and leaving the monkey at a veterinary center, the group accomplish the deal with Kingsley. Suddenly, Interpol agents seem and charge Chow. Kingsley turns out to be an secret agent, who declares the trio that the cops have looked for all day for Teddy but have been unable to find him. Determined and out of hints, Phil once once more calls Doug's spouse Tracy. Stu then has an epiphany and the trio rushes back to the lodge and discover Teddy in the elevator unhurt (albeit still lacking a finger). Teddy had woken up in the course of the evening to get more ice for his severed finger (after the first bucket of ice had melted) but grew to become trapped after the ability went out. The 4 use Chow's speedboat, the keys for which have been in Teddy's pocket, to journey back to the wedding reception.
